Anyone who attends Tuesday night Strength and Conditioning at CrossFit, needs to keep an honest food diary log to be handed in weekly to Ash.
Nutritional advice will be given from the qualified staff at CrossFit Chester-le-Street. This is being provided for free in addition to the services already provided by CrossFit CLS to our members who pay to take part.
Congratulations to eleven year olds Brandon Pye and Lauren Heppell who have been selected to take part in a three day Northumberland and Durham County Training Programme.
They have been selected for this programme because of their fantastic performance at the N&D Championships this year.
Sainsbury’s Active Kids is back and we need your help to collect lots of vouchers. So ask your family and friends to pick up vouchers when they shop at Sainsbury’s and donate them to us. Then we can exchange them for experiences and sports equipment for our kids.
The club is having a well overdue overhaul of its development squads.
New coaches are in place and the development of your child’s swimming career is foremost in our minds.
From April 1st 2017 we are sadly saying goodbye to the SD squads which have served the club well, we are putting a more streamlined system in place enabling parents and swimmers more choice in days and times of swimming, and giving swimmers more water time as they make progression through squads, including an introduction to strength and conditioning, making the move to competitive swimming easier and less of a hurdle to overcome.
Your child has been allocated a place within this new system.
There is a new contract for each squad and the supplied information also includes name of coach, times of new sessions, cost, expected attendance and commitments moving forward to galas.
Should you require any further assistance in understanding the new format, please see our website www.chesterlestreetasc.co.uk, a member of the committee or a member of the coaching team.
