Do you know your PBs from your DQs, UQTs from your LQTs, long course to short course conversions? confused? It’s not surprising. For parents new to swimming there is a lot to take in when our youngsters start to compete, and believe us when we say its still confusing for us seasoned vetarans at times!

But as with everything, its easy when you know how!

So to help parents get to grip with the fundamentals of competitive swimming, we have arranged a parent information session, which will be held on Sunday 3 July 2016, 3pm to 4pm, in the first floor Fitness Studio (Spinning room).

The session is open to parents of swimmers in SD3 – B3.

Space is limited so we would appreciate it if parents could let us know if they are planning to attend.

This is an ideal opportunity to find our what competitive swimming is all about, how to prepare, what to take and most importantly what to expect on the day. So we would encourage as many parents as possible to attend.

If anyone has any questions about the event, please speak to Kelvin McArdle, otherwise we look forward to seeing you there.
