Junior League First Round – Sunday 13 March 2016
A reminder for all our Junior League Team members regarding the arrangements for Sunday.
Arrival & Venue
General
Please could all swimmers arrive at Louisa Centre Stanley at 2.30pm prompt.
For those parents who haven’t been to this pool before, there is no dedicated parking at the venue, however there is a free town centre car park adjacent to the pool.
Please be aware that there are other Junior League divisional competitions taking place at the pool the same day, so parking may initially be a bit restricted. The events are scheduled back to back, so as the earlier event finishes, our round will follow on.
The organisers will have things planned like a military operation, so that spectators from the earlier event will leave via a different exit to that which we will enter by – but just be prepared that things may be a little congested whilst we await our ” entry slot”.
Swimmers
Please could swimmers make their way to the changing village (to the left of the reception) on arrival, our team helpers & coaches will be hovering around to direct any children who may not be familiar with the pool or the event.
We will also “buddy up” any new team members to help with any nerves.
What to bring
Please could parents ensure that the swimmers bring the following:
2 towels
Swimming costumes or jammers (obviously a must!)
Pool shoes or flip flops to wear poolside
Junior League T Shirt
Water bottle & small snack to munch on
All swimmers will be provided with a Junior League Team hat poolside by the coaches.
Start Time
The warm up is scheduled to start at 2.45pm with event due to start at 3.20pm, and will last no more than approx 2 hours.
