Taking Security Seriously: Why we us TLS/SSL

We follow the advice of the National Cyber Security Centre, part of GCHQ and use TLS/SSL on our site (in short that means encryption). The green padlock in your address bar verifies that your connection to our site is private and secure. TLS/SSL is important because it keeps data transferred between you and us secure.

Since July 2018, Google Chrome has marked sites which don’t use TLS as not secure.

Find out more about why TLS/SSL is important on the Mozilla Website.

Mozilla is a non-profit organisation committed to the open web. They’re the people behind the Firefox Browser and their technical documentation underpins how we design and build our website.
